Walter Michael Maxwell

Pittsford - Died peacefully on November 6, 2019 at the age of 71 surrounded by his family.

He is predeceased by his father, Walter T. Maxwell, M.D. and mother, Marion (Boorman) Maxwell. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Robert; brothers, John and James; sister, Mary; nieces, Jennifer (Sherwood), Elizabeth (Brett) Schneider, Kate, Marielle, Jenna; nephew, Peter (Liz); grandnieces and grandnephews, Jack, Kelly, Lucy, Maxwell, Evie; and many friends.

Mike graduated from St. Louis School, McQuaid Jesuit High School, St. Michael's College (B.A.) in Toronto, as well as Suffolk University Law School (J.D.) in Boston.

Mike found great joy in nature. He attended the Davey Institute of Tree Science and retired from the Davey Tree Expert company in Rochester after many years of service. Mike loved people and enjoyed serving as President and Vice President of Pittsford Golden Lions youth football.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 18, 11 AM, at St. Louis Church, 64 S. Main Street, Pittsford 14534. Private interment. Donations may be made to Saint's Place, 46 S. Main Street, Pittsford, NY 14534 or www.saintsplace.org/donate. To share a memory of Mike or send a condolence to the family visit www.crawfordfuneralhome.com.
