Beth (Davis) Bolinger, age 69, passed away June 16, 2025 at her residence in Conway, SC. She was born July 8, 1955 in Frankfort, IN, a daughter of James L. and Barbara Ann Scott Davis.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 16 years, Christopher Bolinger; a brother, Thomas J. Davis and a nephew, Anderson Davis.
Beth is survived and missed by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew Unglesbee (Catherine) and Charles Unglesbee all in Davenport, IA; one sister, Megan Sheets of Conway, SC; one brother William S. Davis (Sarah) of Lafayette, IN; cousins Scott, John and Jim Bodfish who are counted in the sibling category; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Growing up in the Clinton County rural community of Kirklin, IN, Beth attended Clinton Central Schools where she excelled in academics, band and girls' athletics. She furthered her education at Purdue University, graduating in 1977 with a degree in Education. She pursued her teaching career in the public-school systems of Indiana and Illinois for six years. Leveraging her teaching experience, she then continued her career as an IT specialist and trainer/developer as an independent contractor. In these capacities she became well-known to John Deere's Global Law Services Group. She joined their Law Department in 1999 to become their Law & Patent Business Manager, retiring in December 2016.
Among the top of her list of enjoyment were family gatherings, travel, reading, action movies, Colts football and Purdue basketball.
Beth possessed the gift of creativity and not only took on projects for her own pleasure, but to bring joy to others. Christmas gifts were frequently handmade and given special detail to the interests of the recipient. During her retirement years, she produced beautiful handmade cards (of which receivers viewed as works of art) for every imaginable occasion – or even just to express that you were in her thoughts.
With her recent move to Conway, SC, Beth found solace and comfort among neighbors and the community of Seacoast Church where she became involved in worship and women's small group study. Her love of Jesus sustained her as she transitioned from her brief hospice journey to everlasting life.
A celebration of life for Beth will be held Thursday, July 24, 3:00 pm at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort, Indiana.
