DOROTHY MAE O'DELL JOHNSON

DOROTHY MAE O'DELL JOHNSON, 92, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016, at the Putnam Center, Hurricane, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Bill Hunt. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born March 11, 1924, in Wayne County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Albert and Virgie Ross. She was a nurse who had retired from Cabell Huntington Hospital and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church on East Pea Ridge. She was preceded in death by her first husband Clarence "Bill" O'Dell and her second husband Robert Johnson; one son, Donald "Billy" O'Dell; and one daughter, Donna Jean Hazelett. Survivors include one son, Roger O'Dell (Marsha); one son-in-law, Billy Jack Hazelett; one daughter-in-law, Dottie O'Dell; four special grandchildren, Justina (Rob) Adkins, Carmen (Phillip) McConnell, Marcia (Presley) Stacks, Dustin (Lyndsey) O'Dell and 10 special great-grandchildren.
