Burton Bilderback (1927 - 2018)
Burton Bilderback was born the youngest of 3 sons to JC and Dorothy Bilderback in Sweetwater, TN. He was a dairy farmer for the first 30 years of his life and was Director for Farmer's Aid Insurance Association in Loudon, TN for 34 years. He has spent the last 11 years in retirement enjoying his family. Burton was a devout Christian man and an active member of First Baptist Church of Sweetwater since 1934, serving as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, Choir member, and beloved greeter. He loved his God, his family and his church. He leaves behind a legacy as a beloved father, grandfather, husband and friend and has been an encourager and role model for many. He has lived a long, full 91 years of life, love and happiness.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Ruth "Snooky" Rose Bilderback, parents JC & Dorothy Bilderback, and brothers Joe Peak (Chlorine) and Martin (Ann) Bilderback.
Survivors are wife Barbara Buckner Bilderback of 48 years, daughters Oneta Fioravanti (Mark), Kelly Bilderback (Michelle), Tena Hall (Barry) and Rachel Conar (Michael), grandchildren - Joseph, Julia, Matthew, Maria Fioravanti and Samuel and Anna Grace Conar and numerous nieces and nephews.
Heaven now has a strong bass singer in their choir. He will be missed dearly. Mom says she "loves you most"......and the daughters say "he's MY Daddy".
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Sweetwater with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Dr. Frank Crawford, and Dr. Leonard Markham officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Frist Baptist Church of Sweetwater. Interment 2:00 P.M. on Monday in the Sweetwater Memorial Park.
