It is my honor & privilege to know Frank. He was a member of my parents' church, Christ Church, United Methodist, Brownsboro Road, in Louisville Ky., & a longtime family friend. He & his lovely wife, Julie were friends with my parents, and there are not two more sweeter, kinder, gentler, gracious, loving people than Frank & Julie Preston. Their daughter Dana & my sister Becky are best friends. Frank always had a kind word for everyone, & a gentle smile. He was supportive & encouraging funny & gracious. The world is a sadder place today, the church body is a sadder place today, but the KIngdom of heaven is singing & rejoicing, because another beloved son has come home. Goodbye Frank, I'll miss you. We'll miss you. But we will see you soon.

I will always cherish the years working with Frank at the Thomas Edison House and the many great years doing their Thunder Party. After we lost Mike Long (RIP) at such a young age, it was Frank who helped both his two kids and myself deal with such a tragic loss, he was one smooth and constant Duck as I would call him. My deepest condolences to his wife Julie and his kids along with his large family. Frank was as solid a hardwood as any I have ever met, he was the Mighty Oak in my book. Rest in Peace Colonel Preston we will miss you.
