One year ago it is so difficult to embrace the loss of our dear sweet Betty who left us so unexpectedly.
I cherish the memories of her warm kindness. I was indeed very priviledged to know this beautiful, vivacious passionate woman. I have fond memories of her great generosity, kindness and passion for fashion. New York is indeed missing one of their most stylish, creative models. Her hats were one of a kind and truly spectacular. Her bright iconclast wardrobe was the epitome of elegance at all times.
I cannot imagine surviving a year like 2020 without Betty's warmth, calm focus on sticking to the positive and her boundless empathy which inspired so many people. There is not one day that I do not miss her calm acceptance of whatever life presented to us.
There is not one day where I do not bless the very real opportunity her loving friendship bought me
Goodbye dear Betty. Thank you for bringing so much light, kindness and equanimity to so many. I am so proud to be part of the legacy who loved every moment I spent in your dazzling company.

I met Betty at a terrible time in my life. I was suicidal and consumed with my victimization. Not too many people had time for me. Betty did. She was patient, solicitous, compassionate avd understanding. Betty was also firm and a gracious teacher. Betty steered me out if that quagmire. After that I always felt s special connection with Betty. I appreciated her incredible style, vivacious social life and her dedication to others
Whenever times were hard for others she was their rock of sanity
I am so grateful to have known her and been able to journey through so much with her fir a number of years

Betty was a friend to all she met and her spirit will live on beyond her earthly journey and for that, I'm grateful to have known her. Love and light Sweet Betty, until we meet again!

Betty always had a little twinkle in her eye. I hope Peter and her family will always remember that and be comforted by their memories of times spent with her. I was fortunate to visit in November. I will remember how we dined on tons of ice cream!
