Charles GALLAHER Obituary
Charles Roger Gallaher, 70 years old, of Royal Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Roger was a veteran police officer for the City of West Palm Beach for 27 years. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Maryanne Gallaher (O'Shea); his two beloved daughters, Colleen Sneed (David) and Meaghan Sanchez (Ernesto); his two adorable grandchildren, Collin Sanchez and Claire Sanchez; his sister, Debra Kabcenel, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL, 33417. The Funeral Service will be held at 9:00AM on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. E. Dale Locke, Pastor of the Community of Hope Church, Loxahatchee, FL. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.

I met Roger 30 years ago when working at the West Palm Beach Police Department. He was always smiling and made you smile too.
My prayers are with Roger's family and friends during this time of loss.
He is now with the Lord and smiling down on all of his friends.

Roger and I go way back at WPBPD. I walked Clematis St when he was on Datura. Rog was always laid back and a kind soul and we were great friends. May God wrap his arms around the Gallaher family
and give them the support they need. He was a great guy and friend.

As are many, I am saddened by the passing of Roger.
The last three years Roger and I met at the opening day of the South Florida Fair. We would visit and remember the "good old days" at the Police Department.
Roger will be remembered for his service to our country and to the citizens of West Palm Beach.

Roger was close to retirement when I came to work at the police department but regardless of how much time you had on he always said hello and would make me laugh about stuff he had done. When I talked to him at the bank he was still always smiling and asked about me. He truly is a great person and I always respected the way he treated everyone with the greatest respect. I am going to miss our talks at the bank. Thank you Roger and may god bless you and your family in this difficult time.

Very saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I worked with him for a long time at WPBPD and for a short time was his supervisor. Roger was a fine officer and a great person.

I was very sorry to hear about Roger's passing, he was a great guy. We worked together for many years at the WPBPD, then I would see him downtown at the bank all the time after he retired.
