Earl was a fine man and a good friend. He will be dearly missed by his family and the many friends he made through the years.

I worked with Earl for 20 years at the PA House of Representatives and I'll never forget all the laughs and games of "Hoss" with him, "Wild Bill", and Denny Irvin. I'll never forget the day of the O.J. Simpson verdict. We were watching it at work and when they found O.J. not guilty I was enraged because there was no doubt in my mind he was guilty. I remember Earl saying to me, "Ron, why are you so upset?" and he proceeded to give me an enlightening point of view from the black man's perspective. It didn't change my mind but I have to admit that Earl had some very good points that me, as a white man, didn't appreciate nearly enough.
Earl was a great co-worker, a wonderful husband and father, and just an all around great guy. I will miss his distinctive laugh and all the great conversations we had over the years.
