Brandy Lynn Obituary
Newark Valley - Brandy Lynn, 39 of Newark Valley, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2018 as the result of injuries sustained in an accident. Brandy is survived by her children: Marcus Judson, Daniel K. Tillotson Jr, Briana Tillotson and Elaine Tillotson; her grandson Marcus (MUG) Judson, Jr.; her fiancé George Ferguson and his children: Tyrone, Donald, Aryana; her mother Geraldine Judson and father George Judson; her siblings: George Judson Jr, David Judson, Sarah Parks, Kathy Fetterman; many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as several former in-laws. Brandy was predeceased by her infant sister, April Sue Judson, nephew Tyler Boyce, grandfather Wilbert Spicer, former parents-in-law: Kenneth Tillotson, Margaret and Randall Courtney.
Brandy attended Whitney Point High School and was very proud of earning her GED. She loved to help others especially the elderly and was lovingly called "Mom" by many. For several years she was a self-employed home health care provider and later was employed at Cortland Hospital. Currently she was studying to become a certified nurse's aide at Beechtree Rehabilitation Center in Ithaca. Brandy had a passion for potbellied pigs and Mickey Mouse and was a very strong-willed young woman who thrived on making spontaneous decisions and impromptu car trips. She will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will gather at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St Newark Valley, on Tuesday, June 26th from 1-3 pm to share stories and celebrate her life. A Memorial Service will follow there at 3 o'clock. Her guestbook may also be signed at macphersonfh.com

I worked with Brandi at Alorica, and she always tried her best with the job. It was such a taxing job, and she always got through it, up until she left. She will be missed.

I was Brandy's instructor at Beechtree and Brandy was an excellent student! She was always prepared and on time and was the first to help other students. She took wonderful care of the residents and was the shining example of how to care for others. She is certainly missed in our classroom and on the units with the residents. I know she would have been an exceptional CNA. She talked often of her family and how excited she was to be married to George and how kind he was (she was very proud of her morning coffee ritual they shared at Beechtree). I hope Brandy's passionfor life and beautiful memories carry each of you through this difficult time. RIP Brandy Lynn .....CNA
