Sue Ann Miller, 85, passed away peacefully in the early hours of February 18, 2026, at VanCrest of Delphos.
She was born on May 15, 1940, to Eva and Harold Kinner. Sue lived her entire life in Grover Hill. She grew up in Oakwood, where she attended school and built the strong foundation of faith, family, and community that would guide her throughout her life.
Sue married the love of her life, James O Miller, and together they raised five children: Alan Dean Miller; James "Jabe" Miller (Bonnie ); Lisa Holovack (Tony); Ronald Wayne Miller; Jacob Miller (Ian); and Rhonda Kay. She was also blessed with two loving sisters, Kathy Siebenaler and Jayne McCullough.
Sue's greatest joy was her family. She cherished her 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, several neices and nephews each of whom brought light and pride into her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James; her son Ronald; her daughter Rhonda; and her son-in-law, Tom Holovack.
Sue worked many years as a cook at Uncle Fudd's Restaurant, where she became known not only for her skill in the kitchen but for the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Cooking and baking were her love languages; she expressed her care for family and friends through homemade meals, fresh-baked treats, and gatherings filled with laughter.
Music was another gift she shared freely. She loved to sing and often filled her home with song. A woman of deep faith, Sue believed in Jehovah and attended services faithfully at the Kingdom Hall . Her faith sustained her and shaped the gentle, loving spirit so many will remember.
Sue found beauty in simple blessings - watching the sunrise and sunset each day, listening to birds sing, and treasuring quiet moments of reflection. Her life was rooted in love, devotion, and gratitude.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
Sue Ann Miller's legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, the meals she lovingly prepared, the songs she sang, and the unwavering faith she carried in her heart. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
