Kenneth Wolfe Obituary
Ken graduated from Montague High School in 1960 and with a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Michigan State University. He then entered Officers Candidate School with the Marines. He achieved the rank of Captain while in the Marines and served his country during the Vietnam war. When he was discharged from the Marines, he became a government employee for many years continuing to work with the Officers Clubs. Upon leaving that job, he started working for a variety of companies managing franchise relations (Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies, Taco Bell, Club Nautico, & Libbey Owens Ford Glass.) He lived all over the US and moved back to Montague around 2001.
Ken travelled extensively for his jobs seeing much of the world and visiting 6 continents.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Mon, July 28, at Cherry Point Farm & Market, 9600 W. Buchanan Road, Shelby, MI. There will be a short ceremony followed by "open time" so those who wish to tell about their friendship with Ken can speak. We welcome all who knew and loved Ken to join us in this celebration of his life. Since parking is limited at Cherry Point Market, carpooling is recommended. Parking is available in the lot across from the Market or along the road further North of the Market. Please use the entrance at the right rear of the building. Light refreshments will be served; casual dress is recommended.
