Shirley Ann Jennette

Pleasant View - JENNETTE, Shirley Ann, age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Charlotte, Tennessee, to the late James Norris and Era Louise Jones Lovell. She was a Charlotte High School graduate and a member of Cheap Hill Church of Christ. Shirley was a homemaker and previously worked at Genesco, and in retail at Castner Knott and Macy's. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Albert Jennette, Jr.; son, Kevin "Scottie" Jennette; siblings, Mabel Kimbro, Johnnie Brown, Sue Langford, and Barry Lovell. She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Becky) Jennette and Todd (Marsha) Jennette; daughter, Tonya (Lea) Hunter; brother, Jimmy (Wanda) Lovell of Spring Hill, Tn; grandchildren, Raymond (Sheree) Jennette, Angela (Eric) Carpenter, Cyndi (Kevin) Reeder, Mary Blessing, Jace Hunter, Shaw Hunter, Colby Hunter, Cooper Jennette; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Reynolds, Emma Jo Reeder, Libby Reeder, Lucas Blessing, Ellisyn Carpenter, Emery Carpenter. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 3, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheap Hill Church of Christ with Brother Jerry Gaw officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel FWB Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2019, from 4pm to 8pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10am until service hour of 2pm. Serving as active pallbearers will be Raymond Jennette, Jace Hunter, Shaw Hunter, Kevin Reeder, Eric Carpenter, Steve Bowman, Timmy Jennette, and Conrad Hunter. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Jennette, Cooper Jennette, Lucas Blessing, and Ken Brown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Cheap Hill Church of Christ c/o Cheatham County Funeral Home 615-792-2552 cheathamcountyfh.com
