Thomas Hinchliffe Obituary
Born on December 15, 1950, in Ridgway, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas H. and Jane E. (Carnahan) Hinchliffe.
Tom was a machinist his entire career. He had worked for Zurn Industries and St. Marys Carbon for many years.
He enjoyed cooking, and always loved to share a meal with others. Tom enjoyed nature and was most at peace when he was outdoors fishing for native brookie trout and hunting deer. Tom also enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in minor home repairs.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Melanie Gibson and her husband Chris of Woodstock, GA; two grandchildren, Andrew and Wesley; a sister, Rosemary Zimmer of Clearfield, PA; and a brother, John Hinchliffe of Buchanan, VA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg, PA.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

"Hinch" and later "Murph" and I went through grade school, high school, and Boy Scouts together having some great discussions and lots of laughs. I remember him as a friend who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Rest in Peace, Tom.
