Joseph Doroshenko Obituary

North Stonington - Joseph Mirion Doroshenko Jr., 72, of North Stonington, passed away May 7, 2025, of natural causes. Born March 28, 1953, to Joseph Doroshenko Sr. and his former wife Clarissa Gentry, who both predeceased him.

He worked for Hendel's Americana Furniture Barn for many years and later, sought employment at Electric Boat as a pipefitter.

He is survived by his daughter Wishtecha Doroshenko of Norwich; two sisters, Marie Kowalewski of Norwich, and Deborah Doroshenko of Mystic; and a brother, Robert Doroshenko, of Oakdale. He was also predeceased by his brother William Doroschenko; and sister Pauline Fletcher. He leaves behind four grandchildren: Jadira Breault Paulman, Ayiana Orhz-Brooks, Nyree Jarvis, Jeweleit Perry; and a great-grandson, Walker Breault Pullman; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements and burial will be private.
