Sabina Hawkesworth Obituary
Donna will be remembered for her infectious laugh and for all the lives she had touched. If you asked Donna what her greatest accomplishment was, she would reply, "My love and devotion to my children and grandchildren." She will be deeply missed.
Donna is survived by her six children: Philip C. Hawkesworth (Rose) of Westerly, R.I., Pamela Hawkesworth of Reading, Mass., Kevin J. Hawkesworth (Pamela) of Naples, Fla., Caryn M. Wrobel (Edward) of Stoughton, Mass., John R. Hawkesworth (Vanessa) of Ledyard, and Steven J. Hawkesworth and his fiancée, Magdalena Plauske of Carlsbad, Calif.; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her former husband, Philip J. Hawkesworth of Ledyard. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Statia Burdzel and Mary Pendelton and her companion for many years, Ronald Noka.
Her family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 25, at the Mystic Funeral Home located on Route 1 in Mystic. A prayer service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be buried at the Avery Stoddard Cemetery in Gales Ferry.
