Danny Dixon Obituary
Strunk, KY - Danny Lee Dixon Sr., passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Rock Castle Hospital, Mt Vernon, Kentucky. Danny Was Born August 26, 1954 to Ravenna "Sue" and Hobert Dixon Sr. in Somerset, Kentucky. After moving to Muncie, he attended Southside High School prior to enlisting in the United States Navy.
Surviving Danny is a son, Danny L. Dixon Jr.; daughter, Chasity Repass; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ashlynn and Paityn Repass; Fiancée, Judy Kay Bryant and her children, Dennis Privett and Lisa ( Husband-Lester) Koca and their children, Emma and Kyle Koca; brother, Hobert "Hoby" ( Wife-Willa "Jeanie") Dixon; niece, Lisa ( Husband-Roy) Hobbs and their children, Makinady and Maelyn; nephew, Derrick Dixon and his son, Derrius "Malaki" Dixon; his very special friends, David and Theresa Trammell and their children, Taylor, Ambur and Johnny; and several other Dixon family members along with his furry friends Tinker and Fluff will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Harrison and Rose Dixon; maternal grandparents, Millard and Theola Crabtree; uncles, Roger, Kelly and Bobbie Crabtree; and several other Dixon family members.
Funeral services will be at Parson Mortuary on Saturday December 7, 2019 beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery Highway 67 south of Muncie. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

I grew up pretty close to Danny and went all through school with him, from Roosevelt Elementary to Southside. I played baseball with him a lot at Roosevelt, and he was so much better than any of the rest of us , that I always thought he would grow up to play baseball. I never saw him again after he went in the Navy, and I always wondered what happened to him. Was he originally from the Strunk, Ky. area? My folks were from Oneida, just south of there...I'm so sorry for your loss.

l just was thinking of you yesterday Danny dixon, and was wondering where you had gotten to, we grew up together as kids, u lived on 22st l lived just a 1/2 block north on vine, Hobby sorry to see your the last lone survivor , and especially at Christmas time, sorry l can't attend the calling or funeral but will be thinking of the family
