In memory of Donald Gene Wilson. Don passed away peacefully July 8, 2025, in his home in Post Falls, Idaho, surrounded by family.
Don was born April 24, 1937, in Grass Valley, California, to Roy Wilson and Ora Grabert. He was raised in Grass Valley and graduated in '55 at Nevada Union High School. He attended Sierra College and played numerous sports in both high school and college, as well as recreation leagues in Grass Valley. He greatly enjoyed the annual get-togethers with the close group of '55-ers. He loved the outdoors including fishing, camping, and hunting. He moved to Post Falls in the summer of 2019.
Don is survived by his wife of 62 years Nancy (Boom), and six of his seven children: Mark (Janna) of MO, Lauri Howle (Marc) of CA, Janeen Vickry (Will) of CA, Andy (Kristen) of ID, Ben of ID, and Amy Selleck (Darrin) of ID. He is preceded in death by his son Tony in 2005. Don is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls, Id, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10am. Condolences to the family at www.englishfuneralchapel.com
