On Friday, February 1, 2019, of Bethesda, MD. Beloved wife of the late Juan B. Cabrero; mother of Sheila Cabrero (Micheal) Heaviside; grandmother of Michael, Jr. and John Heaviside. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Tuesday, February 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 12 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Sheila, I remember your mother vividly as a kind, gentle, sweet lady, and, wish to express my condolences to you and your family.
I can visualize her, this very moment, when in your kitchen as I went to retrieve a beautiful shiny apple in a decorative bowl, only to be kindly advised by your mom that 'the apple' was a plastic fruit! She was always elegant in her kindness too!
Having lived as neighbors in Langley Park and Adelphi we found many occasions to hang out to include taking driving lessons together along with Laura Finch! During our time at St Camillus i can recall your mom many times during the summer, when going door to door selling Christmas Stamps, and, school field trips! She was a great lady with a beautiful spirit!
In your sorry please know that I am thinking of you and yours during this difficult time.
