Robert Lazansky Obituary

Robert Van Lazansky, 71, of Macungie passed away July 5th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Van and Bessie (Polak) Lazansky. He was the husband of Wendie Lazansky for 44 years. He did his undergraduate studies and University of Virginia and earned an MBA from William and Mary in Virginia. He was the CFO of Health Quality Partners for 40 years. Robert was an avid runner who loved animals, traveling and attending concerts, especially the Grateful Dead. He was a proud member of the local club LVH3. He is survived by his wife Wendie; sons Robert L. Oosterbaan and Robert Timothy Lazansky and wife Sarah & their daughter Ava; a sister Eve and husband Jim Tschantz; nieces Jennifer, Amy and Torie and their families; nephews Mark and Scott Campfield; his beloved German Shepherd Maggie May along with extended family. He was predeceased by his son Joseph Nathaniel "Nate" Lazansky. Services: Informal memorial celebration to be held on Saturday, July 12th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Rising River Brewing, 1955 Willow Lane, Macungie Pa. Please wear tie-dye or bright colored clothing, or UVA orange and navy blue. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
