George McGlone Obituary

May 23, 1934 - Oct. 2, 2010

George J. McGlone, 76, of Brownsboro passed away Saturday.
George received a master's degree from Stanford University before moving to the Huntsville area in 1964, where he worked in the defense industry until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Loretta McGlone of Huntsville; brother, David McGlone of Weymouth, Mass.; nephew, David; two nieces, Lisa and Susanne; and many cousins and relatives of his birth area of Weymouth.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Huntsville Humane Society or the Huntsville Botanical Garden.
