Michael Kyle McGlone

Michael Kyle McGlone, 52, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his residence.

Born on October 7, 1973, in Ashland, Kentucky, Michael was the son of the late Michael Lynn McGlone and Karolyn Jean Waggoner Roe. A proud 1991 graduate of East Carter High School, Michael carried with him the values of dedication and perseverance throughout his life.

Shortly after graduation, Michael answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Army. He served honorably from 1991 to 1994, demonstrating the courage and commitment that defined his character. His service to his nation remained a source of pride for him and those who loved him.

Following his time in the military, Michael worked as a production associate at Toyota of Georgetown and later held various positions throughout the Grayson area.

Michael is survived by his son, Dalton Matthew (Casey) McGlone of Louisville; his granddaughter, Nicole Maeve McGlone; and his sister, Rebecca Lynn (Joseph Leamon) McGlone of Grayson. He also leaves behind two aunts-Brenda McGlone Simpson, with whom he made his home, and Rita Gibson of Ohio-and a host of extended family members who deeply mourn his passing.

Michael will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his faithful service to his country, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, with military honors and Bro. Bradley Cotten officiating.
