Linda Demperio

December 11, 2005 Linda J. Demperio, 53, of Solvay, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Solvay all her life. She graduated from Solvay High School in 1970, and Le Moyne College in 1974 with her bachelor's degree. Linda worked for National Grid for 20 years, the last four years as a team leader in the account processing department. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church. Surviving are her parents, Mary (Holgado) and Dominick "Doc" Demperio, of Solvay; one aunt; one uncle; and several cousins. Services will be conducted at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave. Contributions may be made to St. Cecilia's Renovation Fund, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay, NY 13209; or the Solvay Volunteer Fire Dept., 1100 Cogswell Ave., Solvay, NY 13209.
