I knew this man's father, also Lyle Lett, at Sunshine Christian Reformed Church back in the early 1960's. He was a kind and gentle man, and I have no doubt his son carried these same fine traits. Now well into my 60's, I reached back online to those who I remembered as a child, ones who were influential in my life, to find this obituary of his son. So many wonderful memories flood back into my thoughts of a great childhood, because of so many wonderful people such as this man's father. His father and my mother and Russian uncle, John Adastik, were very close friends having grew up together, and they attended that little church, where every Sunday I would go with my family, and Mr. Lett was my Sunday School teacher. He planted the seed in my life that today has grown to have so much meaning and depth, a faith in G_d. How very grateful I am for this family to have been a part of my early life, for in times of trial, I reach back for their wisdom and great faith...
