Lisa, Your mom and dad were surrogate parents to me when I moved across the country for law school. I was so lucky to have you and your family to keep me grounded. Your dad was quietly brilliant - a lot like you. I know he was a gifted doctor and teacher, but all of his children were clearly his proudest accomplishment. What a very rich life he led and how lovely that you and your siblings allowed him to continue that even when his health faltered.
My love to you all.

Lisa: I remember your Dad as a quiet figure who did not seek a spotlight, yet commanded respect by his virtue, intellect, and love of his family. He was, and is, a role model for me on how one conducts themselves as a Dad. I remember him tooling around town in one of the first Datsun 240Z's. I often thought of him when I was finally grown up enough to get a 280Z of my own!
He was a great man, loved and admired by many. He touched lives in ways he may not have even been aware. Your blessing is to have shared such a long journey with him. You and Bob and Andrea and the rest of your family are in my heart and prayers.

Fond memories of tennis with Dr. G. at the Mill Valley Tennis Club. A real gentleman with a heck of a spin on the ball.

My thoughts are with you at this time. Lisa, I am sure your dad was grateful for the time and care you provided.
Best to you and your family.
