Maria McLaughlin Obituary
MARIA RIMKUS MCLAUGHLIN
Maria Rimkus McLaughlin, 50, of Brookline and Hyannis Port, MA and formerly, Naples, FL, died of cholangiocarcinoma on Sept. 5th, 2014 in Boston, MA. Maria was raised in Battle Ground, WA and was a graduate of Battle Ground High School and the University of Washington.
Maria was the wife of Peter McLaughlin Jr.; mother of 10-year old twin sons, Nico and Max; daughter of Algis and Matilde (Linde) Rimkus of Kailua-Kona, HI (formerly Vancouver, WA); sister of Michael Rimkus and Ana Rimkus of Seattle, WA and Teresa Rimkus Gilliland of Piedmont, CA; also aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass celebrating Maria's life will be held on Sat., Sept. 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville, MA.
Memorial donations may be made to the Nicolas and Matthew McLaughlin Fund, Peoples Federal Savings Bank, 435 Market St., Brighton, MA 02135.

Al,Linde,Michael, Ana and Teresa,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful daughter and sister Maria. Having lost my own son 5 years ago, I know the heartache of losing a child, and I will continually pray for strength and peace during the days, weeks and months ahead as your family adapts to your changed family. May you find some comfort in the wonderful memories of Maria and her light that will forever shine in those she left behind. She will never be forgotten.

Maria was such a bright light shining in the world. Always the happiest person in the room. What a blessing to have received some of that light! Please lord help the great family she leaves here on earth deal with the pain of her abscence. Heaven is a happier place today!
