My prayers and thoughts are with the family. Dave was a CW amateur radio friend of mine for the past couple of years. Both of us attained the Senator level in the SKCC group about the same time. Have his call sign many times in my log. Now God has called him to the heavenly QTH (location). God Bless all the family. de KD8DEU, Al from Columbiaville, MI

My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Dave Burk. He was one of the truly nice guys at the Post Office and always a loyal Union member. He was perpetually pleasant, even when our surroundings were not. I'm glad to have known such a fine gentleman and am so very sorry for your loss.

I visited with David on more than one occasion on ham radio through our common membership in the Straight Key Century Club. I always enjoyed running across him in different club events or just socially on the air. My condolences to his loved ones and friends, many of whom he never met in person but knew and respected him as a fellow ham.
