Within months of the tragedy of 9/11, my mom read an advertisement in a popular women's magazine, asking readers to purchase a silver, cuff bracelet (proceeds to benefit victims/families) with the name of a random victim engraved on the bracelet. Mom felt called to do this and has worn a bracelet with Jacqueline's name engraved on it for several years now. Countless times she has prayed for her family and her friends. Mom doesn't do computers so a few years ago I looked up the name of the woman she had been praying for. Tears streamed down her face when I shared that she was traveling with her husband, on the way to the wedding of her child. Life is precious and today (and always) we remember Jacqueline Norton and the life she shared with many treasured loved ones. Gods peace and blessings to all who knew her personally.

Hello,
Last month I lost my best friend Jasmine. She was a beautiful Siberian Husky mix. It was heartbreaking.I just adopted another dog of the same mix named after Jacqueline-a hero. I am a retired police officer and remember 9-11 all too well. When I heard this dog was named after Jacqueline it made this adoption all the more special. I will never forget the heroes of 9-11 and am honored to have this wonderful dog named after Jacqueline.

I am a high school teacher. The day of the tragedy, our students cut out paper hearts and wrote a name on each one. I still have the heart with Jacqueline's name, and I told my students about her today.
In loving memory.

Jackie and her husband were from Maine - there have been articles in the paper about them, so I always am thinking about them. All they were doing was going to their son's wedding - what a tragedy.

I am looking at every name and face on the CNN memorial website. This beautiful couple stood out. I am sure you are together on the other side, watching over your loved ones. I pray for the family left behind.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Jacqueline. Again my heart is broken by the overwhelming saddness of families who have had to bear this senseless burden. May the fact that she was not alone be of some comfort to you. With thoughts and prayers.

We are deeply sorry for your loss of Jacqueline and Robert. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

My prayers and thoughts are with your family at their time of grief. Who would have thought that such a horrible thing could happen to someone who was on their way to such a beautiful occurence as a wedding.
