Tabitha Norton Obituary
Tabitha Lynn “Tabby” Norton was born March 31, 1973 and passed away Friday, March 13, 2026.
Tabby was raised in Knoxville, Iowa and spent all of her life in the area. She worked at Pella Corp for 17 years. Recently Tabby had worked at It’s All Relative in Lovilia, Iowa. In her spare time, Tabby enjoyed rock hunting and watching paranormal shows. Tabby’s family was her shining light and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Tabby passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 at Iowa Methodist Hospital, in Des Moines, at the age of 52 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Laird.
Those left to cherish Tabby’s wonderful life include her children: C.J. Laird, Derrik Norton and Lexee Norton; grandchildren: Kaislee and Braelynn; parents: Geraldine and John Wheeler; companion, Troy Downing; sisters: Josie Collins and Tina Rios and many other family members and friends.
A visitation for Tabby Norton, age 52 of Knoxville, will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
