Stacey Ann Hall (Pettyjohn) was born March 24, 1970 in Knoxville, Iowa. She was the daughter of Steve Pettyjohn & Edna Whitlatch.
Stacey graduated from Twin Cedars High School with the Class of 1988. Stacey went on to have two children, Kody Wooldridge in 1991 & Cheyenne Downing in 1993, whom Stacey called her greatest accomplishments. On September 12, 1998 she married the love of her life Jake Hall, “the best thing to happen to her & her children” if you were to ask Stacey. Stacey loved spending time on the river at her dad’s house with all of her family, sitting around a fire and making memories. Stacey & Jake were inseparable, never going anywhere without the other. She enjoyed going on big family vacations with her husband, kids, & grandkids. Stacey was her happiest when she was with all of them.
Stacey passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at her daughter’s home, in Pleasantville, at the age of 55 years.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Steve and Teresa Pettyjohn, great grandparents Malcom “Bud” and Thelma Pettyjohn, and her son-in-law, David Downing; along with other family members she loved & cherished.
Those left to cherish Stacey’s memory include her husband, Jake Hall, children: Kody Wooldridge, and his children: Heaven, Brealynn, Kinsley, Kahrynn, Kauree, & Kodi Wooldridge and Cheyenne Downing and her children: Adalynn, Allison, Brock and Jr. Downing. Additionally, her siblings: Ed Pettyjohn, Amy Reidel, Nikki Robinson, CC Snodgrass, Shawn Hermes and many other friends and family members.
