On this 20th anniversary, I'm remembering Ron telling me on the commuter train into D.C. about his wife's delicious Christmas cookies and how she froze them, but gave him some each day to spread out the joy. He was such a down-to-earth, just nice, person. I never knew he was a Colonel! RIP, Ron, and may God continue to bless his family.

I'm beginning to know how you felt riding that train. We have spent the last two days in Crystal City and Arlington. We had a wonderful time at your office. It was nice to visit with other 9-11 families. I had the Great honor of shaking President Obama's hand. It was a wonderful ceremony honoring you and all who parished on that awful day. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS AND TAKE CARE OF US ALL. Loving you always, Irene

Ron,
It's about 6:26. Sara and I have decided not to attend the Pentagon service today. The rain is very heavy and to take all the children out today would not be safe. Brenden and I will attend the service at Ft Meade.
I remember all to well eight years ago. It still feels like it was yesterday. You will be forever in my heart.I will be loving you always and then some.

Dear Golinski Family,
For the past 9 years my prayers have been with you. My heart aches and my eyes tear up even now as I have reflected on your souls being poured out in your memories. I remember your family from 25 years ago in St. Louis MO., when Marcellia, Amanda and Sarah ("stripe") were just little girls. This year I will once again cry with you. I will pray with you and I will think of your family fondly as we remember all of the lives lost. Most especially Ron, a most loving Father and Husband.
"May God bless and keep you. May God's face shine on you. May God be kind to you and give you peace"

A Fathers touch, A Daddy's kiss,
Grieving Daughters, You're greatly missed.
An empty house, An empty chair,
A fathers love, No longer there.
A broken heart, Tear filled eye,
Another soul to fill the sky.
Many memories in my mind,
Some I laugh, Some I cry.
The times we shared, The laughs we had,
Things I miss when I think of you Dad.
Realizing that's all I have to hold on too,
Only memories, Of what once was you.
Missing your laugh, I will never again hear.
That is the reality that fills me with so much fear.
No more smile on your face,
No more warmth of your embrace.
The last hug, The last kiss,
The last "goodbye" leaves me with one last wish...
To have you Dad, here today,
Never to leave your Daughters this way.
A Father's touch, A Daddy's kiss,
Grieving Daughters, YOU'RE GREATLY MISSED! I miss you so much dad, sometimes it's hard to breath. It feels like my heart is being push so tightly together.I love you!!

Dear Sara,
I had the honor of working with and serving under your father in Shenectady, NY with the 464th Engr Bn and 1157th USAR School. He was my mentor as well as my friend and his influence has resulted in my successful career in the military. He was easy going but always got the job done. He had a wonderful sense of humor and laughing when life got tough. He looked at the positive side of things even when life wasn't easy. He was devoted to his family but also to his friends. My Dad, Ben Militana, was also a good friend of your Dad. I can both our Dads now sitting in easy chairs up in heaven, drinking their coffee and enjoying each other's company. We will never forget nor forgive and we will miss you Ron Golinski. My heartfelt wishes to you, your mom and family. Sarah Militana-Stevick

Dear Sara,
I had the pleasure of working with your father at HQ, First U.S. Army, Fort Meade, MD. He was a nice man, and we were fortunate to work in such a great place. The atmosphere was the most pleasant I've experienced in my 23-year career. Your father was the Chief of Senior Officer Branch then. In addition to our duties, I particularly remember working with many of the DCSPER staff including your Dad in Commanders' Cup and AUSA golf tournaments. My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. God bless you.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
