Charlotte (Shirley) Golinski
Age 93, of South Fayette, formerly of Dormont, passed away after a long battle with heart disease. Shirley was born in Mt. Lebanon to the late John Wilding and Ann (Stutt) Wilding. Predeceased by her husband Walter Golinski and siblings Elizabeth (Joseph) Schmidt, infant Jackie Wilding, and William Wilding.
Shirley is survived by her loving daughters, Sally Golinski and Bonnie Golinski; brother, James (Phyllis) Wilding; many nieces and nephews; cherished friends, and her beloved schnauzer, Anke.
She retired from St. Clair hospital where she was employed for 25 years.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, watching Jeopardy, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed!
Arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 724-941-3211. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 8:30-9:30 AM at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish), 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh PA 15216. Private interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard Church Parish (https://smapgh.org/give-to-stmichaelthearchangelparish) or to an animal shelter of your choice.
The family would like to thank Gallagher Hospice for their unending compassionate care and support.
