This dry-sense-of-humor man, John Charles Williams, the only child of Freda Dorothea nee Nagel (Lauterecken, Germany) and Paulo Sidorovich Williams (Monastir, Yugoslavia) was born December 5, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Raised in Pleasant Hills, he attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1953 with a degree in Business Administration and in 1957 his CPA. His first employer was Touche-Ross in Pittsburgh and in their Chicago office. He joined Limbach Company in 1967 as Treasurer, advancing to CFO. Following retirement, he contributed his financial expertise as a consultant to LINC (an arm of Limbach) and its franchisees both domestically and internationally. When asked what John did for a living, daughter Nancy always answered, "He writes numbers". He and his former wife, Dorothy nee Fratini (deceased) are the parents of Paul (Beverly), Nancy (Matthew O'Brokta) and John (J.J.) (deceased). Their grandchildren are Stephanie Williams, Christopher O'Brokta and Megan O'Brokta. "Chris" was "PapPap's" favorite grandson. ("But "PapPap", I'm your only grandson!") John married Geraldine (Jeri) ne Pianetti in 1979. (He had hired her at Limbach Company in 1968 as an Executive Secretary.) A long-time resident of Upper St. Clair, John served for many years as President of the Hidden Valley Manor Homeowners Association. He and Jeri lived in HVM until their move in 2010 to Friendship Village of South Hills, a retirement facility just a "stone's throw" from HVM. John was an early-youth basketball player. He later enjoyed tennis, biking and climbing mountains, Mt. Rainier in particular. He and Jeri relished traveling (China, Egypt, Australia/New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Europe, Scandinavia) and "snowbirding" in Naples, Florida. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS.
