It´s been 23 years, but I have just found out about Norberto Hernandez yesterday. He seemed like a loyal and loving husband and father, not to mention, a phenomenal pastry chef with delicate hands. I´ve seen pictures of those pastries and I´d sure would have liked to try one. I hope his wife and daughters can take comfort in knowing that new people in new states find out about sweet Norberto every day and his legacy lives on. God bless you all!

Like many others I watched with a very heavy heart the documentary. It’s been over 20 years, and I’m still in tears when I read or see anything related to that horrific, horrific day. The words rest in peace couldn’t not be more heartfelt because of the way your life, like many others, was taken in the most horrific and cruel way. Even if I don’t personally know any of the victims, I pray that you all are in peace and are angels in heaven.

In loving memory of my brother Norberto, who passed away on September 11, 2001.
Norberto was one of ten siblings, and he was always there for us, no matter what. He was a kind, loving, and generous person who always put others before himself. He was a hard worker and a dedicated employee, and he was also a talented pastry chef at Windows of the World restaurant.
I will never forget the time Norberto made me laugh so hard that I cried. He loved to impersonate people, and on this one particular day he made the funniest impersonation of my dad. He was making the funniest faces, and I couldn't stop laughing.
Norberto was also a very passionate person. He loved his work as a pastry chef, and he was always looking for new ways to improve his skills. He was also very passionate about his family and friends, and he always put their needs before his own.
I learned so much from Norberto. He taught me the importance of kindness, compassion, and hard work. He also taught me the importance of family and friendship. I am grateful for the time I had with him, and I will never forget him.
Norberto, we miss you more than words can say. You will always be in our hearts.
September 11, 2023. 22 years have passed since the terrorist attacks that took the lives of so many innocent people, including yours. It is a day that we will never forget, but it is also a day that we can use to reflect on the strength and resilience of the human spirit.
Norberto was one of those strong and resilient people. He was a survivor, and he never gave up hope. He was also a kind and compassionate person, and he always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
On this day, we remember Norberto and all of the other victims of the 9/11 attacks. We also remember the courage and determination of the first responders who risked their lives to save others. We will never forget their sacrifice.
May Norberto and all the victims Rest In Peace.

thank you all norberto was a year older than me iam his younger brother willy, we grew up together and i have so much good memories about him we were like two twins brothers since we were little we were always together he always use to come and see me almost every friday and the day he miss i new exacly where to find him it has been six years and i still cant find my life with out him i was looking through my belongins and found a letter he wrote me over twenty years their was a small park close to my job and that was always our meeting place to every one out there love your family with all your heart and dont allow any negative space life is to short and will fade away he always call me nene he left me behind but someday we will be together again

I did not know Norberto Hernandez but I know of him. My heart goes out to his family.It's over 4 and a half years since his life was lost to the world. He will not be forgotten and neither will the other people who joined him that day. I was only 9 years old on September the 11th 2001 but the event will stay with me forever. I am very sorry for the loss of your loved one. I did not know Mr. Hernandez, but I suspect he was a very special individual. I know that he was a great chef - I had the extreme pleasure of feasting at WOW a few months ago, and the desserts we ordered were the best I ever ate. I'm guessing that he created and designed those "Wonders of the World", and they really made what was already a special night much more special. He was a major talent and brought dining happiness to so many: you can be very proud of his accomplishments.
