Dear Ms. Storey,
I had the opportunity to work with Jimmy at Marsh, then still in the WellsFargo Building in Houston. I am just as sad today as I was then upon hearing of Jimmy and our other Marsh associates on that dark day. My heart always becomes heavy for your family as Jimmy´s name is remembered on this day every year as well when I visit NYC. Twenty years have passed and I hope the time has healed your heart and emphasized your fondest memories.
My warmest regards to all of Jimmy´s family and those who knew him.

Dear Mrs. Storey, I have a 9/11 bracelet with Jimmy's name on it. I have been wearing it 24/7 since receiving it. Now 15 years later I think it's time to turn it over to you. I want you to know he has been in my heart all these years and I think of him everyday. Please contact me on facebook or call (651-353-3731)

It's been many years since I worked at Marsh - and my memory of Jim is strong - he was a dynamic person who always had a positive (albeit serious) greeting - truly wonderful. I wanted to take this moment to remember Jim. I know he is missed by many people.

Dear Ms. Storey
My name is Maydel Barrera, and I am a senior at Klein High School in Klein,Tx. For a research project, I am creating a tribute to honor someone close to the September 11, 2001 tragic events at The World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93. I have chosen to honor Jimmy Storey with my tribute.
I am sure that the memory of the event is painful, so if you prefer not to participate as a source in my research, please know that I understand completely.
In order to properly honor Jimmy Storey's life, I am seeking information regarding his interests. I would appreciate any pictures you could share of Jimmy Storey. Please include, too, any memorable stories about him, details of his job, family, friends, accomplishments, and personality.
If you would like to have more information about the project, feel free to contact my English teacher Mrs. Sally Lane at [email protected].
Thank you so much for your time.
Sincerely,
Maydel Barrera

I am doing a project for my english class about those who were there during 9/11. I chose Mr. Storey because I felt drawn to him in a way. I am sorry for yall loss and I hope time has healed some of the pain. My video will never do Mr. Storey justice but i hope it will enlighten my class to remember those who arent always mentioned when the subject of September 11 is brought up.

Pam, Cindy & Tracey, I had no idea until today that this happened. Perhaps you remember me from Spokane and all the camping trips we took up to Priest Lake. As you know Lynn died about 9 months before Jim so I can somewhat understand your feelings. I don't know if you still monitor this site, but if you do, I'd like to hear from you. I realize it's a little late, but you have my condolances.

I was attending a 10th year memorial service for 911, located in Orlando Florida. They had flag's for everyone that lost their life's that day. I pick Jimmy's flag, and wanted to let you no that. People all over the place get together to remember the people that died that day, and their family's. May God be with the family and friends of Jimmy.

I think of our group in Katy often. I still smile at the memory of heading to swim practice early one morning, Tracey behind the wheel of the station wagon. Jimmy installed an alarm that would buzz when we drove faster than 60 mph. We all laughed. The loving sentiment of that silly alarm was beautiful.

I worked for Jimmy Storey at Aetna in Spokane. It was hard to belive that he was at the trade center at this unbelivable time. Jimmy taught me alot about work, organization and follow through, but he also taught me to "stop and smell the roses" along the way. My thoughts go out to Pam and girls

Pam - I found out about your husband's death through my Mom, Judy Hall. She called me after receiving your card in December 2001. I can not imagine what you and your family have gone through these past couple of years. Living across the street from you, and playing with Cindy, Tracey and Goef, I remember Jimmy very well. He had an awesome laugh and smile. I have very fond memories of you all and you are often in my thoughts. Michelle Hall-Haldeman

I am also a Storey descendant of George Storey of Fairforest, South Carolina and wish to offer my condolences at this time. He looks like he would have been a wonderful man. Even though I did not know him personally, I want you as his family to know that my prayers are with you and you will one day see your husband, father and grandfather again.
May God Bless you and yours.
Sincerely,
Betty Storey

As a representative of all of the descendants of George Storey of Fairforest, Union County, S.C. it gives us great sorrow to hear about the passing of one of our Storey "cousins". Jimmy was a 8th generation descendant of George Storey of Fairforest, SC. He comes from a proud, very well-respected, pioneer family which has its roots in England, Ireland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina and now Texas. Our sympathies go to his wife Pam, daughters Cynthia and Tracey and his grandchildren.

Hi Mrs. Nevill. I am a freshman student at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. In my University Seminar class we were asked to read a memorial of a victim of the September 11th attack and I found the memorial for your husband. I chose him because I also lived in Katy until I came here to attend school. May God bless you and your family and you will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.

To Jimmy's Family: God bless you all on this tragic anniversary. I knew Jimmy at Marsh in Dallas, and his sense of humor makes me laugh today, and will again tomorrow, because that it how he lived...always with a smile and a kind word.

Mrs. Storey:
Noah is still worried about who is making you breakfast and if you are eating breakfast. (Noah was a kindergarten student of Mrs. Storey's and daily she told the students what Mr. Storey had made for breakfast and spelled it out on the board). Noah and I pray for you each night and he tells me each day if he has seen you and if you looked happy or sad. He is only 7 but seems to sense the tragedy and sadness of losing someone so close and wonderful. We care about and treasure you...you changed our lives as our son's teacher and we will ALWAYS be here for you. Please know that you are loved, cherished, thought about, prayed for and monitored in the halls daily. Love Donna and Noah McCUllough

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Jimmy never failed to come by my desk to say hello when he was visiting the Marsh & McLennan office in Dallas where I worked for 18 yrs. He was one of the nicest persons I've known in the corporate world. He had many dear friends. May God bless his family.

TO: The Family and Friends of Jimmy Storey.
I did not know anyone who was hurt or killed on the tradgic day of September 11,2001, however, I hurt as if I had lost a friend or family member. I wish to extend my condolences to the family and friends of my fellow Texan American.
I lived in Houston for 9 years and have been to Katy Texas many times. I lost my best friend who lived in Houston 2 years ago. Hopefully by the Grace of God and good friends, your pain will eventually subside.
May Mr. Storey Rest in Peace!
