I used to work with Bill at Tax & Finance. I alway enjoyed working with him when I travelled to NYC to provide computer support for his office. He always had a positive attitude about everything. My wife also was in his department - based out of Albany. We miss him, and pray for his wife & family often.

Dear Melissa & the Valcarcel family:
My condolences & prayers are with you all. Melissa, this is Mandy and we worked together during a summer internship at the New Victory Theater a few summers ago. When I saw you on TV on 9/11 pleading people to help find your father, I said a prayer for you. May God give you strength and hope!

How apt a title for this rememberance of Bill Valcarcel: A Life Without Life's Limits. I will always remember that he always smiled, and I cannot ever remember seeing him frown. This is the first time I am hearing about his childhood struggles. I never new exactly why he walked with the crutches (I never saw him in a wheelchair), but I do know he was an inspiration because he never ceased to smile.

I was devestated after finding out a month after the tradegy about Mr. Valcarcel (a.k.a. William, dad, Pops). My prayers go out to his 2 daughters and his son, but especially his wife. I hope God will you all of you the will to continue to live life with such a tragic lost.

Willie
It hurts to look out the window from my new location at work (from the 35th floor at 59 Maiden Lane) and see where the WTC once stood. I am so angry that you and others were taken away. You are so missed. You are alive in everyone's heart. Friends always, Alice Mojica Martinez

We are very sorry for your loss. It sounds like William overcame many obstacles and was a great person. Our hearts cry with you in your loss.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

To Willie I must say we shared alot of good times when we were younger together with his wife a friend and almost family for we grewup together, this has touched all of us, and he is truly missed, I last saw Willie on his daughter's graduation party last year, when I had lost my mother, and he was so proud of his daughter with all the accomplishments she has forfilled. I'm just sorry this awful thing had to happen to make me remember I had been so far away and hardly got in touch with my good friends in New York, but I have always loved them all dearly and now more than ever. So to my dear friend Willie, who is with God and all his angels, I tell him we will all one day be together again and we will be all a family again. To Miriamjam I tell you I love you dearly eventhough I hardly call or get in touch, I'm so far away but not in thought, my thoughts are with you and all your family, and this has truly touched my heart, and I hurt too, like everyone that knew Willie, so I send you all my love and we must go on with our lives and stop thinking of I should have done, and think of all Willie was and all the good he did. So take care of yourselves, I love you all. Lessie
