I live in Jacksonville,FL. I met Kiran just days before the attack. I still had his message on my voice mail box. Unfortunate and Cruel. A young man who worked hard and about to enjoy the fruits of his hard work suddenly disappeared. I couldn't stop tears when I heard the news. I was in Connecticut at that time.

I am apart of the worlds greatest NAVY, and today we had a 5K run in honor of the fallen and the 9/11 victims. We recieved name tags for the victims and I recieved Kirans name and wanted to see who I was running in honor of today. After reading a little about this great man, our personalities are much the same. To the family, sorry for your great loss, because of this tragic day that Kiran lost his life, his sacrifice gave America the warning that we needed to act before another tragedy like this happend on American soil. Kiran Reddy Gopu, gone, but not forgotten. I will take a moment of silence in your honor today.

Wish you were here today. Something that i really need to talk to you about...Of all the people that I know, the first one I thought was you and only you, no one else...If only life can rewind

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
