Lenny, 22 years after "the event" I'm still thinking about you around this time of year. You left a big impression on me old friend! When I arrived at Broad Street in 1982, you were one of the first friendy, welcoming folks I met. You called me "Jair-ree" in your Virginia drawl. I thought it was kinda nice. We had nice times at those Irish pubs after work - you having cognac and me a simple domestic beer. Did I have my first Hennesy or Covosier (sp.?) on you? Probably! You had class and some really interesting stories, especially your theater career as a dancer. I'm still and will always be impressed. You were kind too. Many of "our betters" were unkind or dismissive to tradesmen. It was just a way to make a living and didn't define us. You were a notch above and I'll always remember you. Be happy and at peace.

20 Years and you are not forgotten Lenny. Your spirit is always alive because we keep you in our hearts. Although I never met you reading about you in your obituary all of us can feel you. We can know you. A caring giving man. You were an angel on earth...but still too young to be an angel in heaven. Sharon Dupont, fellow retired Verizon employee 911l - Lawrence MA

I remember the beautiful flowers he gave me. An expensive arrangement with a taste of class. He was such a man of elegance.
I laugh at remembering how he would tease my husband to make him jealous. I will never forget his act of kindness to Everyone.

I enjoyed dancing with you in the company, Anthony. You were and are a treasure. I know you have heaven choreographed and busy in the arts. I appreciate you and the example you set, and I appreciate your family for welcoming me onstage and offstage, in happy times and at your memorial service.
I light a candle to you in thought and the next time I'm in the city, I'll light one that is real.
Love, Judith

I am so sorry for your loss.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
