My grandfather, John Maloney, worked with Mary at CitiBank. He remembered her fondly and my family continues to pray for her and all who mourn her. May she rest in peace.

In 2005 our church did a memorial service on 9/11. Each person at the service was given a name of someone who died on 9/11. I was given Mary’s name and have prayed for her almost daily since then.

I came to the page today because I noticed an email saying that there was a post. It is incredible that 20 years on there are wonderful people who take the time to reach out & let us know that they are praying for Mary. Thank you for your prayers & kind thoughts.
Mary & my mom were first cousins and Mary enjoyed countless get togethers with our family when I was a kid. I have wonderful memories of her kindness & wittiness that I’ll carry for my entire life. Thank you again to the wonderful strangers who reach out on a platform like this.

My family and I are visiting NYC from Texas and today, 12-29-21, we experienced the 911 memorial. I asked my children and husband to choose a name among the victims to lift up in prayer today and the days ahead. I discovered and chose Mary Teresa Caulfield. Mary, I am so sorry you were taken from this life the way you were. I pray the people you left behind were able to have some peace throughout this holiday season. Please know I will continue to lift Mary Teresa Caulfield up in prayer and her loved ones. You are not forgotten.

I visited the 9/11 memorial today and I saw Mary's name with a white rose. I googled the name as I wanted to see a face to remember and found this page. My family and I are thinking of Mary and her family today on her birthday.

I worked with Mary at March McLennan. Mary was the sweetest nicest person I have ever known. And everyone we worked with would say the same thing. Mary had a reputation for being thorough and hard working and I asked her to work for me ,which she did, and totally lived up too he reputation. I am sure she is in a better place now because none deserved more than her.

I visited the 9/11 Memorial in August and my family each picked a name to remember and to say a prayer for the person's family and friends. Mary was the name I chose and we have been praying for you and your family that God will give you comfort as the anniversary of 9/11 comes and always.

This morning my husband and I attended a beautiful, moving, and comforting service of remembrance at our church. Each person was given a name tag with the name of a person who died on 9/11/01. The name on my tag is Mary Teresa Caulfield. Mary, I did not know you, but you are remembered...as are all who lost their lives on that terrible day. I will pray for your family members today.

I worked with Mary in the early 90's at Citibank in Manhattan. She was always smiling and joking and it was a pleasure to talk with her. I remember the terrible sadness I felt when I learned of her fate, but I will always have good memories of Mary.

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
I miss you Mary..... Your was more than just a friend to me.. Love you

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I'm am so happy that I was able to get to know Aunt Mary! I will always remember the very special dinner at the apartment when she showed up with a trunk full of groceries for us! She thought I was starving her niece :) She was a sweet person with a big heart. Her brother would be proud of the way that she raised his daughter!
Love always,
Melissa

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
