To Philip’s Family & Friends,
I am so heartbroken for your loss. I want to let you know that when I was in New York for my first time to visit I went to the small Museum close to the Ground Zero Site. While there I bought a Memorial Bracelet that has Philips name on it.
I will wear it with Pride and Pray for Philip him as well as for all affected from this Nightmare.
God Bless You All.

I knew Phil through my father who worked with him. I called and spoke to him briefly after the first plane hit. He indicated he was ok. He was (is) a great guy. I still remember all the funny stories my father would tell about the office. So sorry for the loss.

I still remember Phil and think of him often. We worked together at KBW back in the late 80's. He always managed to make me smile no matter what was going on. He was so fun to be around. I miss you and am so sorry for your family's loss.

To all of you from N.Babylon I was shocked and saddened when I heard about Philip. I had no idea, an old friend just told me. All I could think about that day was him and I sitting on the stoop of my parents house talking about absolutely silly things. I will miss him, and I miss all of you, I think about you all the time. Children grow and friends grow apart.
I love you all,

I just found out; I remember the day you were at my apt watching the Islanders/Rangers playoffseries. You were such a huge fan of the Islanders; We use to break each others chops all the time.I use to call you "no Rap" and you just to call me "loser".More importantly you made me extremely proud to be your friend. It was always a laugh a minute by your side..
Im sure God is happy that you're by his side now
To Vinny and Diane, my deepest regrets..

When somebody dies,a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell god to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. people dissapear but never really go away. the spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake the grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the daytime when there soposed to be sleeping. they paint the rainbows and the sunsets and make waves splash and tug the tide. they toss shooting stars and listin to wishes. and when they sing wind songs, they wisper to us....

I met Eddie five years ago when I moved to New York City. He taught me how to live life, take chances and to enjoy every experience. He made living in NYC easy. Even though my heart breaks everytime I think about the loss of my friend, I will always have the memories. To know Eddie is to love him.

Phil, or "Woody," or "Eddie" as we on his softball team in the summer of 2001 knew him, was such a joy to know. Anyone who plays softball knows it is never just about softball. He wanted to join our league for years and finally found the time, and had one great season with us, mostly at first base, sometimes in the outfield, or as the lefty pitching partner to me. And he was the strong lefty hitter we lacked before and lack again now. But he was so funny and good hearted that to think of him is not to be sad but to smile. The last time we were all together was at a softball tournament in Montreal over Labor Day weekend, which ended with a nighttime party on the roof of a hotel, fireworks in the background, and Eddie laughing as he held court. He loved that summer with the team.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
