My constant prayers goes out to the family of Brandon J. Powell. I went to school with Brandon from 6th grade until Truman High. He was the most kind and gentle guy that I knew. He used to come to my defense when other guys were picking on me. I truly hate that he is gone because his spirit was so genuine but he is in a far better place than us.

Brandon,
We were such good friends as kids, I remember the first fight we had in Pine Island, how silly it was and how we laughed about it later in life and the time we were in your house throwing toys all over your room and my mom was going crazy looking all over for me or when we would play in the construction pits between the town houses and hide under the walkways when people came by. As we grew older we went our separate ways but always bumped into each other in our building or on the train, we even both worked at the Trade center. We always had a warm hello for each other no matter how much time passed. You were such a good guy, I miss you Brandon. I'm sure you have made Heaven an even better place...take care my friend.

Brandon was a real nice guy. I grew up with him in Co-op city. He kept to himself most of the time and didnt follow the crowd.. It hurts me to look at his picture, but we know God is taking care of him... R.I.P...

Harry,
It is sad that this had to happen to anyone but especially someone as good and kindhearted as you are. When I look at Brandon's picture I see the smile you had in better times. My prayers are with you and your family, now and always.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
