i am a pastor here in California. today is the 4 year marker of 9/11. we wanted this to be personal so everyone who comes this morning will receive a card with information about one those who died on 9/11.
i randomly drew roy. i have a 6 year old who is starting soccer in a week and i am the coach. so what i read truly touched my heart.
i am incredibly sorry for your loss, but was inspired by the story of love roy had with his family.
may God surround you all with peace, mercy, and hope.

I came across this site by mere chance, Roy was my first cousin, much younger, but very close as he lived with our family for some time in Viña del Mar, a seaside resort in Chile, when his parents left for the US in 1976. I saw him quite often when visiting New York and now unfortunately have lost him. I am sure that now, from heaven, he is smiling at his family and all of us who loved him dearly.
God Bless you Roy.

Dear Roy and family
Roy I never knew you or your family, but wish I did. In fact, a few minutes ago I was watching the Travel Channel and the Black Jack tournament was on. A keen eyed gentleman named “Lucky Eddie” won.
Later they announced that you were part of his family. Well Roy, Eddie, and family I too suffered a loss on 911. But it brings solace to our hearts to know my brother Walter is in good company. Play a hand for us. God Bless.

Roy was also my first boss at Tullett during 1989-91. He was a great teacher, mentor and friend. He encouraged me to go to grad school, called me all the way in Texas during the tough first year of Grad school for moral support. After school he helped me get a job on the street during the recession of '93. You have touched so many lives Roy!
Roy has led by example. Patience, honor and humility were traits that I learned from you. We will never forget.

I was very honored to wear Roy's name today as I sang Mozart's Requiem as part of the Rolling Requiem for the one-year anniversary of September 11th. I touched his name as the crowd applauded, not for the music, but the people who we were remembering. My heart goes out to you. I pray for healing in your lives. May God give you strength and comfort.

From one Wallace family to another may God bless yours. I never met Roy but I can tell you as a daddy that remembers watching his little girl play her first soccer game not that long ago that it's the greatest thing in the world.
May Roy rest in peace and may Heavenly Father bless and protect you and your family.

Roy was my first boss. He hired me to work at Tullett & Tokyo in 1990. I was 22 and useless. He was patient, funny, self deprecating, generous and easily the best boss I have ever had. I am terribly sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss. The soccer games sound like they were a wonderful magical family time. I am so glad Roy took many pictures for you to enjoy looking at and thinking back on your times together. Our hearts are with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
