Mike was a great friend that I have not seen in years. I remember he always had a smile , a kind word or ten, always had an ear to listen and never met a stranger. He helped me many times by just listening and encouraging. He will be missed.

Michael's Obituary

Michael Adams, 66, was called into the arms of his savior Wednesday, August 8, 2018.  Born in Kona, KY, he was a resident of Virginia.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a truck driver.

Michael, known as Mike is survived by his loving wife Katherine of 46 years, his daughters, Aimee Faison her husband Troy and Laura Adams. His brothers, Gene and Don Adams. His grandchildren and their spouses, Nathan and Lindsey Faison, Nicole and Cody Burke, Nicholas Faison, Natalie and Michael Walker, Brennan Adams and Brooke Zimmerman. Hosts of uncle's, aunt's, cousins, neices, nephews and dear friends. Mike's faith was important to him, he enjoyed teaching youth Sunday school. Mike never knew a stranger only friends he had never met and he would have a story for anyone who would stop to listen. He is preceded in death by his mother Leona Webb Adams Forrest and Clinton C Adams.

A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3pm at Crossroads Community Church, 1420 Lakeside Dr. Yorktown VA 23692. Visitation with family to follow service.
