Not sure what to say?

I know this awfully late, but.........what a shocker for me and Sunny. All things change....the 4Mile Road house is hidden behind industrial sprall, not pretty at all. Sunny, who I met there has been my wife since 1970. I thought of Wayne often, but ran into him only once at the grocery in Rockford. I buzzed the White Cloud acres a couple times while I was still flying, but never found anyone at home.

I knew Wayne 50 years ago he was an exceptionally great guy

In 1963 I was Wayne’s Plane Commander when he was serving in VP 47. He was a good navigator and a valued crew member.
Wayne was a good man and lived a good life.

Wayne always was cheerful with the same friendly smile! Good natured and kind! You could tell he loved life and was a great part of our RE/MAX of Michigan Broker/Owners. Wayne will be missed by all!

Wayne's wisdom, knowledge and presence will be greatly missed at RE/MAX River Valley where he remained as part owner and active in real estate. He touched so many lives through real estate and made so many new friends, of which I feel privileged to be a part of. Rest in peace and thank you for being a part of our lives.

My father Bruce Spielmaker, who passed in March of 2011 hunted with Charlie and Wayne for 50 years at Trails End! On a whim I stopped in to see Charlie and Wayne at Trails End on November 11th. Unbeknownst to me Charlie had passed in 2018. Luckily I was able to see Wayne and catch up briefly. As was usually the case this time of year, he had just returned from Montana on a successful hunt and shared another great tale of the stalk and successful kill! I am 1 of the 5 boys in my Family who...

I remember my sister and I lifting him over the fence when he was a little boy, so we could play with him. Palmatiers and Thompsons were neighbors on Marywood, and our parents played cards every night.
Jack remembers they had a hound dog, maybe named Rob, and Palmatiers gave him some scraps for the dog. Young Wayne said, Thanks, but he’ll have to wait til tomorrow to eat them, because it’s meat and today is Friday.
We always enjoyed seeing Wayne throughout his life. I remember one...

Such a wonderful guy who was so gracious with his hunting property, and fun to work with. A lot of found memories hanging out there. Great times! Jack & Beth VanHoven

Miss ya buddy. Thanks for throwing me so many lifelines over the years.
