Not sure what to say?

Ernie was a model hero for a young star struck boy of 10 like me. I followed him playing baseball when the War ended in 1945. I later had the privilege of playing baseball with him 4 summers as we traveled all New England playing the best Town teams around. Ernie loved to compete and it rubbed off on a teenage boy trying to play shortstop with mature athletes like Ernest Bastianelli. I will always remember him for his encouraging words and smile. Thanks for everything dear friend.

I got to know Ernie during my years as the sports guy on WTSN and then at WMUR. We we see each other at numerous sporting event that he would be officiating and I would be covering. He was such a classy gentleman and I always enjoyed chatting with him.
My condolences to the family.

Nancy and Regina,
I was so saddened hearing of the unexpected passing of your Dad. When unexpected it is more a shock, and I learned of the loss of your uncle as well. I am so sorry you had to deal with two deaths. Please know you are being thought of daily. My prayers go out to you and your families. What an amazing athlete your Dad was for Dover High. And how he helped so many young boys by being a referee and coach. God blessed you with a wonderful father.
Sincerely,

Our condolences to Ernie’s family. Ernie and Agnes were our neighbors on Mount Vernon street and were the kindest and nicest people you could ever meet. I will miss running in to Ernie around town and catching up with him on how the kids are doing.

I worked with Ernie at PNSY...WONDERFUL MAN...A couple years ago I had the pleasure of seeing him at Harvey's Bakery. So very sorry for this loss. He could really draw charactures...I think I still have the one of me...

Nancy and Regina,
We are saddened to learn of your Dad's sudden passing. We'll miss his uplifting smile, his kind words, his goodness, and his deep devotion to faith, family and friends. What a beautiful legacy he leaves behind! You were so very blessed. May Our Lord grant you His peace and comfort and protect all your precious memories as you begin to mend your broken hearts. May your dear Dad and Mom, reunited, rest in peace.

Ernie was truly one of a kind and to say he will be missed is a understatement, to say the least. He always had a smile on his face, no matter what. He was equally as kind and nice to friends, family members and strangers alike. He literally lit up any room he entered and was the true definition of a perfect gentleman. He may be gone but he will never leave those he loved and who loved him, as he will be with us in mind, body and soul. He will always remain in our hearts until we are reunited...

Our Hearts go out to you on the passing of such a great man. He and your family are more than friends. I am sure that he is overjoyed to be reunited with your mom. We all loved him and will miss seeing him. Love and prayers

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Bastianelli family. Ernie and Agnes lived next door to my brother and his wife for many, many years. We always enjoyed a bit of Christmas Eve with Ernie and Agnes graced my niece with her homemade pizzella. She still talks of this treat today! Many blessings to you all.
