Not sure what to say?

Sam and I owned a condo in Ashton beside Doug for about 9 years. He helped us many times with contacts for housing needs and was always there for us as a neighbor and friend. He also turned us on to Dockside, where we could often catch him hanging with his buddies. We are sad to say we just heard of his passing today, and really hate we missed an opportunity to come to his ceremony. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort. Doug enjoyed life, and we hope you continue to celebrate your...

Please accept our condolences. I will remember Doug from our greetings at SACPC. He will be missed.

Really didn’t know Mr. Miller except, as that super nice gentleman who would always speak very kindly to me and my family. As we left church at SACPC, he drove a green sedan Mercedes and typically parked in the same general area as us.
My oldest son Robinson who’s 22 now, always enjoyed talking football with him.
We never discussed business, just sports and life. I did ask him once if he won his green Jacket at Augusta. Truly a Gentleman, RIP sir.

Rest in peace and rise in glory.

Our sincere condolences to the Miller family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Jim, Tara, Colby and Casey Burton

I will miss Doug. I also grew up in Whiteville 5 homes from the Millers.
Dr Miller took me up in his plane for my first flight when I was 9.
Hope memories will always give you help with your loss.

Player, our prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your sweet Daddy.

Cindy and I love your family. We loved Doug and are praying for everyone during this difficult time. Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”

Dougie will be missed by so many of his friends. He was a great hunter, fisherman and joke teller. Always Great entertanment at the annual Skeet Shoot telling his stories and jokes. He loved his friends and family and would give them the shirt off his back if they needed it. Doug was quick to tell you he was a dyed in the wool conservative Republican and he was a great Patriot. Loved to cook for his friends , and could grill a great steak. He was a remarkable Wonderful historian, and i...
