Darrell Joseph Markovitch

I was just thinking of Darrell tonight and in searching for him on Facebook, I saw Linda Fredrickson had posted his obituary. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, and sorry I missed the posting so that I could express my condolences at the time. I had the joy of being Darrell's supervisor for about five years in Wilmington. He was truly one of my favorite people to work with. He always had great and very thoughtful ideas about how to make things better and I looked to him often for advice...

Sally, we were so very sorry to hear of Darrell’s passing. Sending heartfelt prayers to you and your family. In sympathy, sara and jack gracey.

A fisherman extraordinaire. A loved husband and father.

So loved and missed…but many happy memories. We shared surfing, fishing and travels and special conversations. I will forever hold dear my good friend. Rest In peace Darrell. With sympathy to Sally, his girls and family..his memory will live on.

Sally, I send you and your family my sincere condolences on Darrell's death. It was literally last Tuesday, the 25th, that I was talking with a friend about how strange it is that we can go years without running into to people we knew "back in the day" and I brought your names up. Darrell's presence in the universe must have been very intense. I hope the following reference will make you smile. One of the things that has stuck in my brain about you guys, is the "blue bowl beef" his mom...
