Not sure what to say?

Leslie & Bert.. We are thinking about you and your families today as your say goodbye to your sweet sweet mother. Toppy was one of the most genuine, kind, creative, giving women I remember from our wonderful childhoud ( not to mention how beautiful she was). She was a "staple" friend of my mother's and I will remember her smile forever.
You are all in our thoughts & prayers .
Love,
Catherine & Ben Snead

Topy and Jim were best friends. My thoughts are with Robin and her siblings. I first met Jim in 1966 when I worked as an extern at James Walker Hospital as a 2nd year medical student. I worked with him again in the summer of 1967 as an extern at New Hanover Hospital. During those 2 summers I delivered my first 600 babies. I returned to Wilmington in 1994, to start a gynecology cancer program and to help design and start the Zimmer Cancer Center. Jim served as the anesthesiologist for many of...

Happy times in Montreat. Toppy - 3rd from right.

Toppy was my dear summer-time friend in Montreat for most of my long life. I loved her very much. She was beautiful and thoughtful and kept our old-time Montreat buddies together throughout the years. I will truly miss her. "Sunshine" Connor Norwood.

What a beautiful and gracious lady that I was blessed to know. Always enjoyed her kindness and friendship.

My thoughts and prayers to all of you for the loss of Toppy. My mom, Betty Bowen of Betty Bs Antiques looked forward to the special holidays when Toppy, Chris and his wife would come in and “Do their shopping”. Such a pleasure for me to be a part of their treasure hunt!

Toppy was one of the most gracious, kind, beautiful ladies I’ve ever met. She always had a smile for everyone. We loved her at Doncaster. She made our day!

Our sincerest condolences and sympathies to the entire Robinson family. A very nice and warm lady that we were privileged to know and have as a friend for many years. Our world has grown a bit smaller with the passing of Toppy. She is now with her beloved Jim, she has now crossed the bar and met her Pilot who will take her to be with Jim and Chip, Robin’s beloved husband and best friend. May her Pilot shine his light upon the entire family and bring peace to all.

With our...
