Elaine G Ziegler

I worked with Elaine when I was young in my career. I always aspired to be more like her as I advanced in the industry. I'll never forget she told a new supervisor "You'll love working with Erica, she's sharp." I was so grateful & touched by that. She will be fondly remembered by many of us in the railroad/IMC business.
Elaine was a pleasure to work with and a genuine, wonderful person I was privileged to know.

Elaine was the sweetest person, she welcomed us into her home like we were old friends. Her son Brian is one of the best friends I have ever had and I can see where he got his kindness and welcoming spirit from. Elaine played with my son as if he was her own grandchild. I feel terrible for her family and friends, the world is truly dimmer without her.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Elaine’s sudden death. We especially feel for Tom who has lost his life partner just as they were starting a new phase of life in North Carolina. Our prayers go out to the entire family during this time of bereavement. May faith provide strength and comfort during the coming days.

It was a pleasure to work with Elaine on the Alameda Co. Sheriff's Office. She was kind, caring and very efficient. I was fortunate to have known and worked with her and her husband Tom.
