Not sure what to say?

Jim was a dear friend and I'd known him many, many years since he was at the University of Illinois. Warm thoughts to his family. He will be missed.

Jim was a wonderful friend and co-worker who always had time to talk and help. He loved his family, friends, and Cubbies. We shall treasure his memory RIP❤

My sincere condolences to Emily, Doug, and the entire McGuire Family. Jim was one of a kind and will be missed terribly. He loved his family and loved to work. Thank you for your service and Godspeed.

Single Tree

To Jim's family, I offer my heartfelt condolences. As early morning arrivers to the IGB our daily encounters were brief but pleasant especially when I forgot my key card, Jim was there to let me in. Our occasional informal conversations were a delight. Rest in peace, dear colleague.

My proudest professional moments and ones that I will miss sooo very much were Jim honoring me by calling me to ask to take a close look at some "goofy" transaction with him. Surely he had spotted something invisible to the rest of us or made an obscure connection seem obvious; and surely what he saw told a whole tortured tale of intrigue among malefactors and miscreants.
He once introduced me to his colleage as a "bean counter like us." I am not a CPA. I almost blushed with pride. ...

Fond memories of working and joking with Jim will remain in my mind. Rest in peace.

Excellent colleague. He went above and beyond every time I had a financial question with any of my cases. We shared many Chicago stories (I thought I had many - he always surpassed me.) We shared many interesting talks. RIP Buddy.
