Teresa Chapman Obituary

CHAPMAN, TERESA SUE HAMBLIN - age 49, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away May 8, 2009. She was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville, attended Oakland Baptist Church in Rutledge. She is survived by husband of 24 years, Ulyess C. Chapman; sons, twins Dusty Frank Chapman and Rusty Leonard Chapman and Kirby James Chapman all of Rutledge; step daughter, Tammy Lou Chapman of Chattanooga; parents, JD and Eloise Hamblin of LaFollette; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Bob Fannon of LaFollette and Julie and Steve Yeary of Powell; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Kellie Hamblin of Jacksboro; special aunt, Hazel Rogers of Powell; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 10, 2009 in Smith - Reagan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stacey Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM prior to the service. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith - Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge, TN.

Ulyess,Dusty,Rusty And Kirby,You all had a wonderful Mother and Wife. She dedicated her whole life to you all. She loved you more than words can ever say. we had been friends thru our kids growing up years.we always had fun together she always had a smile and a laugh. she was an angel here on earth

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Teresa was a great lady. I always enjoyed laughing with her when Dusty, Rusty and Chris played basketball together in middle school. God alone can strengthen you and get you through the days to come. Please know that we will be praying for you.

Teresa was a beautiful, vibrant lady, with lots of energy and a wonderful laugh. I respected her greatly. She will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Ulyss and all her sons. She was truly a wonderful person.
